Our last weekend in Ft. Benning was a good one. The weather was absolutely gorgeous...probably the thing I will miss the most about Benning. It was around 80 degrees and sunny...perfect! Josh and I went to see some of the Best Ranger competition that happens here in Benning once a year. It was awesome to see! These Rangers are tough as nails! Josh was a little depressed watching because of his knee, he really wants to go to Ranger school and is bummed that his chances of going might be pushed back now. But we had fun watching, and maybe Josh will be healthy enough to qualify as a Ranger someday and enter this competition. We also wanted to say congratulations to UFC fighter Rich Franklin, and our good friend Rob Radford (Rich's boxing coach) for an awesome win over Travis Lutter on Saturday! Way to go, Rich and Rob! Oh, and the Ft. Benning soldiers loved their shout-out! :-)
