What a great weekend!
Our weekend was too much fun! Our good friends, the Sunderman family, came to visit this past weekend. We went to the Louisville Bat Museum, had a cook out, and just spent some quality time with good friends that we don't see often enough! Thanks for coming down, Sunderman's! It means so much to us, and we can't wait to see you again!

Myrtle Beach and Prayer Request
Josh and I celebrated our two year wedding anniversary on August 9. As an anniversary gift, Josh surprised me with our first family vacation to Myrtle Beach! How awesome is that? I have the best husband ever! So last week we packed up and made the long drive to the beach! We had so much fun! It was Ty's first time at the beach, and he enjoyed it. He loved the sand...had it everywhere! The ocean he wasn't so sure about. He didn't like the waves too much, but he did love swimming in the pool! We had a fabulous time! I really wish we could have stayed there longer, but am grateful for the time we did have. One thing you learn from being in the Army is to cherish the precious time that you do get to spend with your family! Thanks for planning such a wonderful trip, Josh!
Here are some pictures of our trip:

The only pic we have of the 3 of us!
Daddy and Ty on the beach...not sure what kind of face Ty is making?!
Prayer Request:
We finally received Josh's Ranger School dates. He leaves in early October, and, Lord willing, will graduate in early December. Please keep Josh in your prayers as he trains and prepares to go to Ranger School. He is going to need the Good Lord on his side to help him make it through this challenging course. Pray that the Lord keeps him healthy, motivated, and mentally tough. Pray that he makes it through Ranger School so he can be home in plenty of time for Bib Dos's arrival! Thank you so much for remembering him in your prayers...it means so much to us!
