Cakes, Cakes, and More Cakes!

Our baby turned two on January 15th, while we were in Disney World!  Caellum got so spoiled for his 2nd birthday!  Since we didn't get to have one big party for him, he had four, yes four, small parties!  That means 4 cakes...yikes!  That kid is definitely spoiled rotten!

On his actual birthday, we were at the Magic Kingdom, so we ordered him a cake at the bakery there.  Cake #1:

Then, we spent a couple days with Aunt Kathy and her family, and they got him the cutest "Army themed" cake. Cake #2:

When we got back from Disney, we went to Cincinnati to spend some time with our families, and we celebrated with each side of the family. I wanted to make Caellum a cake because I have always made their birthday cakes every year since they were born, so I made cake #3:

The Happiest Place On Earth!

Josh got two weeks of leave in January, and we had the best vacation EVER! We took the boys to Disney World! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, the parks not very crowded, and seeing the look of awe and wonderment on our boys' faces made this vacation priceless! We made so many awesome family memories! How blessed we are! Here are tons of pics from our trip, sorry about the overload...just too many good ones not to share!

We got "rock star" seats for one of the shows...we were up close for all the action!

This was the very first character the boys met as soon as we walked into the Magic Kingdom! 

We were trying to get a pic of them in front of the "Magic Castle" (which is what the boys called it), but they were not having it.  Every time we turned them away from the castle, they threw a fit because they couldn't see it anymore!

This Mickey statue was in the lobby of the resort where we stayed.  Every time we walked through the lobby, Caellum would yell, "Hi Mickey!" :-)

His name is Zurg, from Toy Story 2, but the boys call him "Naughty Zurg," because he is naughty!



They fell asleep while we were waiting to watch the parade...Caellum fell asleep with an ice cream bar in his mouth! :-)
