Waterpark fun!

Ty LOVES the water! We spent part of our Father's Day without Daddy :-(since he was in the field) at the pool. The little water fountains provide hours of entertainment for our little man. He just loves them...even when he squirts himself in the face! He was doing the "low-man crawl" all over the pool. His poor, little belly was all red, but he was having a blast! We would have had a lot more fun if Daddy was there, but we'll go back again when he can go too! Of course I had to take a video of Ty playing in the water:

Happy Father's Day!

Poor Josh spent his first Father's Day in the field! :-( He has been in the field all weekend, and gets home tomorrow. So, we'll be celebrating with him tomorrow. Ty and I spent part of our Father's day at the "Waterpark" (AKA pool) here on post. When I get a chance I'll post a video of Ty enjoying the pool.

Just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all you daddies out there! Hope you all had a fantastic day!

Cave, Crawling, and Teeth Too!

So sorry if I bore you all with Ty videos, but since he is growing so fast and the family doesn't get to see him often enough, I have to keep posting them! Ty is SOOO close to crawling! He does his own version of the "low-man crawl", and he's even starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock! I had to post some videos of his attempts. He will be mobile in no time...I just don't know if I'm ready to chase him around everywhere! We are excited for him to learn, but I know we'll be sorry once he starts! :-) I also wanted to show you all his teeth! He has two bottoms and the four front top teeth are also coming in. They are too cute, except when he grinds them together...yuck! It gives me the chills!

On Sunday, Josh had the day off so we went to the Mega Cavern in Louisville. It is an enormous cave (an old mining cave) underneath the Louisville Zoo. Since it is temperature controlled, and one of the safest places in Louisville, parts of the cave have actually been converted into a warehouse where people store things. You've heard of how Disney keeps it's movies in a "vault" and occasionally re-releases them to show, right? Well, this cave is where Disney's "vault" is! Cool, huh? It was pretty interesting, and we some good old family fun! Here are some pictures of the Mega Cavern:

Can you see Ty's teeth?

Kinsel's Kiddos Field Trip!

I took Carson (my full-time 22 month-old kiddo) and Ty to the Louisville Zoo on Monday for a little field trip. We had fun, but boy was I exhausted by the time we got home! This is what my life will be like when "BIB Dos" (Baby In Belly number two, as we have affectionately named him, or her) gets here! I definitely have a new respect for all you mommies out there that have more than one kid! The Louisville Zoo is a great, little zoo, and it even has a water playground for the kids to enjoy! I had to post some pics of our fun day!

In the stroller, ready to go see some animals!

Sleepy Ty having fun in the water!

Ty was so sleepy by the time we made it to the water park, but he still loved it!

One more video of Ty, for the grandparents that are missing him so much!

Guess who's gonna be a big brother???

YEP! We're expecting baby number 2! That is our news (sorry to keep you and Brad in suspense, Heather...but at least it wasn't for a couple of weeks, right?)! Please pray for us, because it is still very early (I'm about 8 weeks), and we debated on whether or not to go ahead and announce it. We decided that we'd rather have the support and prayers in any case, so we decided to tell everyone. Baby Kinsel #2 is due January 14, 2010. I went to the doctor today for my first visit. They just did paperwork and bloodwork. July 2 will be my next visit, and first ultrasound to make sure the baby is measuring right and matching up with my due date. Ty and Baby #2 will only be 16 months apart. Yikes! We are very excited, and will definitely keep everyone updated! Your prayers for a healthy baby/pregnancy would be greatly appreciated!
In Army news, Josh did get his orders to his new unit: 1ID, 3IBCT. Basically that means that we will be stationed here, in Ft. Knox, for a while, which is what we wanted...Praise the Lord! The unit is deployed right now, will be coming home in the next few months, and will be moving here to Ft. Knox. Josh will be in "follow-on" schools (ARC: Army Reconnaissance Course, Stryker Course, and a pending Ranger School date) until the unit gets here. Once he finishes his schools, he will join his unit.
The Lord is so good, and we have been overwhelmed with His many blessings, and answered prayers!
