Maddie's 1st B-day!

Our other adorable niece, Maddie, turned 1 on Saturday and we were able to make it to her birthday party. She looked so pretty in her little party dress. She was a bit overwhelmed by all the people and all the attention, but she had a good birthday! Here are some pics! Happy 1st Birthday, Maddie!

A Decision Has Been Made!!!

Well, we had an appointment with our "Army Doctor" today, and we have finally come to a decision! I will be induced on Friday, Sept. 5 for a natural birth as long as Bib doesn't decide to show up before then! They will induce me because our doctor is scheduled to be there all weekend and will be able to closely monitor my progress the whole time I am in labor. If there is any indication that the baby or I are in distress, then they will immediately prepare for an emergency C-section. Josh and I are happy with this decision, and we pray that the Good Lord will watch over us and everything will turn out just fine for both Bib and I. We know that through Him all things are possible, so we're just going to trust in Him! Please keep us in your prayers...you can never have too many of them! Looks like we'll be parents in a week and a half! Of course we will keep you updated! Thanks for your support!

C-section or Natural...that is the question!

Josh and I went to Louisville today to see a "more experienced" doctor to find out more about my placenta issues. This doctor told us that he thinks I should absolutely be able to have a natural delivery. He thinks my placenta is definitely far enough away from my cervix to be able to deliver with no problems. Geez! We keep getting so many different opinions! We go back to our "Army doctor" on Wednesday, so we'll discuss it further, but as of now, things sound good for a natural birth! We are happy with that news, and praise the Lord for it! We were thrilled to see pics of Bib again at our ultrasound! They say Bib is about 5 lbs. 8 oz. right now. Things are looking good, he (she) is measuring just right! I am 37 weeks today...only 3 weeks to go! Bib can come at anytime now, but I have a feeling the stubborn little guy (or girl) will wait til the last minute when I am absolutely miserable! :-)

We will keep giving updates as we learn more, but as of now it's just a waiting game for Bib!!!

Godfather Josh!

Josh is officially Morgan's Godfather! Morgan's baptism was yesterday, and Josh was thrilled to be chosen by our good friends, Matt and Teresa, to be her Godfather. Here are some pics of the big day! Morgan was so good, she didn't cry through any of it! In fact, she almost tried to dive into the water while the priest was pouring it over her head!

Gabrielle is 1!

Our niece, Gabrielle will be 1 year old tomorrow! We celebrated her birthday on Saturday, and she was too cute! We can't believe she is 1 already! Seems like just yesterday we were going to the hospital to meet her! Happy Birthday, Gabrielle! We love you!

Prayer request

Please pray for our Army friend, Alexi Zayas. He injured two vertebrae in his neck this weekend in a combatitives tournament here, at Ft. Knox. He is currently in the hospital in Louisville getting x-rays and tests done to decide whether he needs surgery, and the best course of action to treat him. It's a pretty serious injury that could result in permanent damage, so please pray for the Lord to heal him. Thank you!

No more baby info...yet!

No baby doctor updates as of now. We did have an ultrasound on Saturday morning, but the doctor wants to discuss the results with the other doctors and get more opinions on our situation before we decide. We are happy with that. We want as many doctor's thoughts, opinions, and expertise as we can get before we decide. So, I will post more as we find out!

Another Dr. Update!

We went to the doctor again today. This doctor wants to do another ultrasound to decide whether or not he thinks we should schedule a C-section or proceed with a natural birth. So, we are going on Saturday for another ultrasound. I'll give another update after we learn more! Thanks for your continued support and prayers!

Camcorder!

Our new camcorder in the box!

Our new camcorder, and carrying case.

I made Josh take me to Best Buy last night so we could use the gift cards we received from our showers to buy a new camcorder! We have been wanting a nice camcorder so we can record Bib's big debut into the world (a very censored debut, that is), and thanks to our friends and family, we got one! We are so excited! We were able to buy a very nice one. It is really tiny, and will be very convenient to record all Bib's firsts. The color is a really cool sapphire blue too! So expect lots of Bib video-posts in the future! Thanks to those that helped us purchase a nice camera...what a great gift!

Sunderman's Visit!

Teresa, Morgan, and Matt

Teresa and I thought this pic was too cute!

Josh and his soon-to-be Goddaughter, Morgan

Morgan likes to suck on her toes...too funny!

Our good friends, Matt and Teresa came down from Cincinnati for a visit this past weekend. Matt and Teresa brought their adorable 6 month-old daughter, Morgan. Josh and I LOVE having visitors, and we had a blast with the Sunderman's! We went to the Maker's Mark and Heaven Hill distilleries, ate WAY too much at the Whistlestop buffet in Glendale, and just enjoyed catching up with one another. Morgan is the most well-behaved 6 month-old I have ever known, and Josh and I are praying Bib will be an "easy baby" like Morgan (yeah, right, wishful thinking I know)! Thanks to the Sunderman's for coming down to visit. You are amazing friends, and we had such a great time hanging out with you! We hope you had as much fun as we did! You're welcome to come back anytime!

Oh, and Matt, I will try to get more efficient on my blog updates for you! And next time you come down I will make the "Luke Skywalker drink" so it's not so nasty, LOL!

Happy Anniversary!!

Josh and I celebrated our first anniversary this past weekend. I can't believe we've been married for a year already! We got married at the courthouse on August 9, 2007, before Josh left to go into the Army. When he came home for Christmas Exodus, we had our "real wedding". But we still consider August 9 to be our anniversary, so we went ahead and ate our wedding cake (even though it is technically only 6 months old). It was surprisingly good! I thought it was going to be gross, but, for whatever reason, it is actually delicious! Now we have a huge square of wedding cake that I can't keep my hands off of...yikes! I am already big enough...this cake is going to make me (and Bib) even bigger! Josh and I celebrated by eating at the Texas Roadhouse (thanks to Mom and Dad Kinsel for buying our anniversary dinner), and Josh gave me a gift certificate to get a manicure and pedicure! He said since he was no good at painting my nails, he'd send me to someone that could. Isn't he sweet? I love my hubby so much!!! Happy Anniversary to us!

Struble Friends Baby Shower!

My teacher friends at the last school I taught at were nice enough to throw me a shower this past Sunday! It was great! I got to see my old co-workers, and got more stuff for Bib! Thanks Struble friends, you all are the best and I miss working with you!
